the first meeting
I like to meet with prospective couples to see if we will be a good fit and this takes place over coffee of course ;) This is a good chance to talk about your wedding plans and also to tell me a bit about how you met and what you like to do together. Meetings are usually 1-1.5 hours long so come with any questions you might have. If you do not live locally, we can still talk over Skype or over the phone :)
If you decide that we will be a good fit together, awesome! I will be thrilled to join you on your wedding journey. Just let me know and I will start the process for you. Booking involves paying the 1/3rd retainer fee as well as a signed contract – then we can move onto some of the fun stuff, planning your Engagement Session.
This will be our first time working together! We’ll spend some time hanging out in a spot that you have chosen so that the photos are more natural and make since for you both. I can offer suggestions though if needed! Once the session is completed in 2-3 weeks, you will receive an online gallery where the files can be downloaded right onto your computer.
I will stay in touch along the way but the real planning gets underway 4-6 weeks before the wedding date. This is when I will be sending you a number of questionnaires about your day, asking about a family shot list and a number of other planning details to ensure that things run smoothly on my end. It’s important to make sure that the day is paced well without feeling rushed and I can help you plan for that.
This is it! The day you have been planning for months has finally arrived! I will arrive ready to go with a smile on my face and a camera in hand.
You will probably see a preview image on social media a few days after your wedding but the rest will take 4-6 weeks before they will be completed. An 8-hour day will see about 600-800 files. You can opt either for the digital download or add a flash drive for safe keeping. The digital files come in both color and black and white and I include a print release so that you can opt to print images at the lab you choose.
